A charming and quaint town, just like in the fairytale. It was just a 3 hours cruise pit stop for us, definitely insufficient for a city abundance of fjord, islands and mountains. Husband and I were recovering from sea sick after cruising for 15 hours (a very bad experience for husband due to wrong motion sickness medication prescribed by our doctor), spent a whole hour resting at a cafe and were left with only 2 hours. Such a waste!

Certain parts of town have really steep slopes, somewhat similar to Montmartre at Paris. Also best known for its furniture production, it's no wonder there were several furniture / interior shops in town. So much gem in this small town!
